Estimate and Scheduling Repairs
The first step in any collision repair is to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and
provide an initial written estimate. If you agree to the work, you sign a repair authorization and your vehicle is scheduled for work. Before the first work day arrives, all parts needed for the repairs will be ordered and negotiations will be finalized with the insurance company for payment.
The Collision Repair Process Starts
When the first work day for your vehicle arrives, the damaged areas are disassembled and re-inspected, and any needed structural work is completed. Renton Collision Center employs state-of-the-art computerized straightening and aligning equipment to bring the vehicle back to factory specifications. Any needed new panels are then prepared, installed, primed, sealed and treated with corrosion inhibitors. All the work is then inspected and tests are performed before turning the vehicle over to the paint department.
Ready for Paint, Completion Date Set
The car is chemically cleaned, pressure washed, primed and sealed before being taped, bagged and masked for painting. In our high-tech down draft spray booth. top quality European paint is applied in a multi-step process, then baked to a hard, beautiful luster.
Reassembly, Detailing and Inspection
After the repair process is complete, we ensure your vehicle has been completely returned to its pre-collision condition, thoroughly cleaning it so it looks its best.
